A Complete List of Animal Colours in the Planet Zoo Twilight Pack
The Planet Zoo Twilight DLC adds five nocturnal animals to your zoo, along with a lot of new colourmorphs!
There are four new habitat species in this pack, including common wombats, raccoons, red foxes, and striped skunks. Plus, there’s a flying exhibit animal, an Egyptian fruit bat!
If you enjoy collecting colour morphs, this is a pretty special pack! Every single animal, including the exhibit animal, features rare colour morphs. Not only that, but red foxes have the largest variety of colour morphs of any animal in the game!
In total, there are thirty-five colour variations across these five new animals.
So here’s my complete list of every animal colour included in the Twilight pack!
OVERVIEW
Total Number of Animals: 5
Habitat Animals: Common wombat, raccoon, red fox and striped skunk.
Exhibit Animal: Egyptian fruit bat
Total Number of Colour Morphs: 35
Animals With Special Coats: Common wombat, raccoon, red fox, striped skunk and Egyptian fruit bat.
Common Wombat
Common wombats are found throughout southeast Australia, including Tasmania.
Wombats are marsupials, which means they have pouches where their babies grow and develop after birth.
These cute marsupials have four fur colours: three shades of brown and a rarer leucistic variant.

Colours are listed as:
- Coarse brown fur
- Coarse dark brown fur
- Coarse grey-brown fur
- Leucistic: Coarse white fur
Raccoon
Raccoons have five toes on both their front and back paws. Their front paws are surprisingly nimble, almost like tiny human hands, and they use them to grab and explore.
Raccoons have three common grey colours, but they also have two special coat variations, leucistic and melanistic.

- Grey fur with black face and tail markings
- Dark grey fur with black face and tail markings
- Grey-brown fur with black face and tail markings
- Leucistic: White fur with blonde face and tail markings
- Melanistic: Black fur with faint face and tail markings
Red Fox
Red foxes are special animals in Planet Zoo because they have more colour morphs than any other species, with a total of twenty-one different colours!
There are three primary red shades: red, yellow-orange, and red-brown. Each of these colours has three special coat variations: piebald, part melanistic, and part melanistic with piebald.
In addition, there are four melanistic colours: black, silver, grey, and dark grey. Each of these melanistic colours can also feature a piebald coat.
Finally, there is a leucistic variation that is entirely white.
Despite the variety of colours, the piebald variations of melanistic and partially melanistic foxes are not mentioned in the information panel or in the animal market. They are only referred to as melanistic or partially melanistic.
The only way to identify them as piebald is by their appearance. This makes it difficult to find them in the market unless sellers specifically include “piebald” in their name.

Colours are listed as:
- Red fur, black legs, white chest and tail tip
- Red brown fur, black legs, white chest and tail tip
- Yellow orange fur, black legs, white chest and tail tip

Striped Skunk
Striped skunks are well known for their strong smell. They can spray with impressive accuracy, reaching distances of up to 10 to 12 feet.
They are found all across North America and have their typical black-and-white fur.
However, they also have two special colour variations: an albino skunk with all-white fur and an erythristic skunk with brown-red fur.

- Black fur and white markings
- Albino: White fur
- Erythristic: Brown-red fur and white markings
Egyptian Fruit Bat
Exhibit animals don’t have specific colours assigned to them, and most don’t have rare colour morphs. However, Egyptian fruit bats are one of the few exceptions, as there is a possibility of breeding a white bat!
