Planet Zoo South America Pack: A Complete List of Animal Colours

The Planet Zoo South America pack introduces five new animals native to the continent of South America!

This DLC features four unique habitat species: Colombian white-faced capuchin monkeys, giant anteaters, jaguars, and llamas. Additionally, the exhibit animal included in this pack is a colourful red-eyed tree frog.

In total, there are twenty colour variations among these new South American animals. And every single habitat animal has a special, rare coat!

Colombian White-Faced Capuchin Monkey

Colombian White-Faced Capuchin Monkeys inhabit the tropical forests of Colombia, Ecudor and Panama.

In Planet Zoo, these monkeys have a single standard colour, but they also have a rare all-white leucistic variation.

Colours are listed as:

  • Black fur with white chest and head
  • Leucistic: white fur and pink skin

Giant Anteater

The giant anteater is found in the grasslands and forests of Central and South America, including in Honduras, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil, Venezuela and Argentina.

You can add four giant anteater colours to your zoo, including a rare erythristic red-brown.

  • Black hairs with white markings
  • Black-brown hairs with white markings
  • Dark brown hairs with white markings
  • Erythristic: Red-brown hairs with white markings

Jaguar

Jaguars are the largest big cats in South America, with the biggest population found in Brazil.

They have three standard colour morphs with a chance of producing a black panther!

  • Yellow-orange fur with black rosettes
  • Yellow fur with black rosettes
  • Cream fur with black rosettes
  • Melanistic: Black fur with faint black rosettes

Llama

Llamas can be found in the Andes Mountains of South America across Argentina, Ecuador, Chile, Bolivia and Peru.

These domesticated animals come in nine distinct colors. There are three lighter colors, all featuring brown patches, three darker shades of brown and black, and three rare leucistic colors.

There is also some variation in the patterns of the brown patches on lighter llamas.

Red-Eyed Tree Frog

Red-eyed tree frogs inhabit the tropical rainforests of Central America and South America.

Exhibit animals are not assigned specific colors, and the red-eyed tree frog appears in its usual bright green and blue.
